Volunteer Work

Youth who engage in community service have shown to be more responsible with higher self-esteem and resilience. Volunteering helps the teens gain new skills necessary for the job market such as leadership, communication skills, dependability, time management, and decision making. Teens who volunteer perform better at school and also build a stronger resume for college and scholarship applications. Our youth have been able to volunteer at many organizations including food pantries, baseball fields, animal shelters, and other community events. Unfortunately, COVID has limited our volunteer work in 2020 but we are eager to get our youth back into the community.
